RHP Michael Kopech (pictured above on the left) provided an exciting glimpse of what his future in a major-league uniform might look like in the Sox’ 7–3 loss to the Cubs at Camelback Ranch-Glendale. Kopech came on in the sixth inning and tossed two scoreless frames, struck out five, allowed just one hit and reached 100–102 MPH…CF Peter Bourjos (shown on the right) knocked out a pair of singles, raising his Cactus League batting average to .387 and OPS to .968…2B Tyler Saladino added a triple and scored on C Geovany Soto’s single…1B Nicky Delmonico slugged a solo homer, his second long one of the spring (see video below).
