After Justin Morneau grounded out in his first at-bat Tuesday night against the Royals at Kauffman Stadium, he told White Sox teammate Todd Frazier he wasn't feeling it.
"Next thing you know he has four hits," Frazier said. "Whether that's professionalism or he's lying to us, either way we'll take it."
Frazier called Morneau "a professional" after he put together his first four-hit night as a member of the Sox, a logical description of a 35-year-old designated hitter in his 14th season in the big leagues.
Morneau's first 20 games in a Sox uniform after offseason elbow surgery have met expectations, at the least, as he went 21-for-70 with five doubles, three homers, nine RBIs and a .
