Last Night’s Highlights
Jose Quintana pitched six solid innings for his first win (6 IP, 0 ER, 3 H, 6 SO), Jose Abreu launched a long solo homer–his second of the season–and the bullpen trio of Dan Jennings, Zach Duke (top photo below) and David Robertson (bottom photo below) was lights out, combining for three no-hit frames as the Sox won their third straight, 4-1, in Cleveland…Jennings came on in relief of Quintana in the seventh inning and struck out two while Duke and Robertson struck out the side in the eighth and ninth, respectively…It was Robertson’s second save…Tyler Flowers (2 for 4) and Avi Garcia each singled in a run and Adam LaRoche deliveredanother RBI with a groundout.
