Jose Abreu Hits For Cycle, White Sox End 5 Game Skid

Jose Abreu did something that hasn’t been done in 17 years for the Chicago White Sox. He hit for the cycle. The White Sox first baseman added three RBIs to help end a five-game skid. The offense added five more home runs in a 13-1 win over the San Francisco Giants. James Shields had a strong outing allowing just one run on two hits through seven innings pitched. He’s now 3-6 with a 5.40 ERA.

Yoan Moncada, Yolmer Sanchez, Nicky Delmanico, Tim Anderson and Avisail Garcia all homered in support of their pitcher.
