White Sox pitching has been the story of their stellar start to the season, as South Side pitchers entered Thursday leading the major leagues with a 2.24 ERA and 17 quality starts.
The pitching was also the story in the opener of a four-game series against the Orioles, but it was a much uglier one on a wet, chilly night at Camden Yards.
Sox left-hander John Danks gave up six earned runs and reliever Jake Petricka surrendered a sixth-inning grand slam on the way to a _-_ loss to the Orioles.
