Jerry Reinsdorf has 'complete faith' in White Sox management despite Adam LaRoche saga

After completing his inquiries into the controversy that pushed designated hitter Adam LaRoche into early retirement, White Sox Chairman Jerry Reinsdorf said he has “complete faith in the skills and abilities” of club leadership, including executive vice president Ken Williams.

Reinsdorf said in a statement that he met with all parties involved, including LaRoche, who left the team after a “fundamental disagreement” with Williams over the amount of time his son could spend in the clubhouse.

Sox pitcher Chris Sale criticized Williams’ handling of the matter, asserting that Williams lied to players about the reasons for the restrictions and created trust issues within the organization.
