White Sox broadcaster Jason Benetti will call his first nationally televised Major League Baseball game Wednesday when the Nationals play at the Dodgers at 9 p.m. on ESPN.
Benetti joined the Sox as the television play-by-play commentator to do only home games alongside Steve Stone this season while Ken “Hawk” Harrelson calls the away games.
Benetti has worked for ESPN since 2011 working on college football, basketball, baseball and lacrosse broadcasts, and he has maintained both jobs since being hired by the Sox.
Benetti will join analysts Doug Glanville and Rick Sutcliffe in the booth.
