The Chicago White Sox will hold their first on-field workout July 3 at Guaranteed Rate Field for what general manager Rick Hahn dubbed “major-league camp portion 2.0.″
The primary goal, according to Hahn, is to continue the momentum the team built in February and March at spring training in Glendale, Ariz.
“The way that team was coming together, we were in a really good place,” Hahn said Thursday during a Zoom call with reporters. “Obviously real life got in the way, but as we ramp back up here in the coming days, we are very excited to try to pick up where we left off.
