With starter Carlos Rodon on the injured list, the Chicago White Sox planned on a bullpen day Saturday against the Cleveland Indians.
Matt Foster did his part, beginning the game with two scoreless innings. But the Indians got to Drew Anderson in the fourth, scoring six runs in the inning on the way to beating the Sox 7-1 at Guaranteed Rate Field.
Franmil Reyes and Jordan Luplow hit two-run home runs in the fourth off Anderson, who joined the Sox from the Schaumburg training facility before the game. Anderson allowed six runs on four hits with two walks and two strikeouts in 1u2153 relief innings.
