It’s not a revival of the late, lamented “Sports Talk Live,” but NBC Sports Chicago is planning a week of live shows dedicated to coverage of baseball’s winter meetings, which are being staged virtually this year.
Over on Marquee Sports Network, they will rely on Michael Kim’s 5:30 p.m. weekday show, “The Stadium,” produced by Stadium, the multi-platform outlet based at the United Center.
If something big happens, Marquee says it will have special and/or live coverage similar to when Theo Epstein exited as Chicago Cubs president of baseball operations.
NBC Sports Chicago, meanwhile, plans nightly editions of what it’s calling “Winter Meetings Live” to cover and analyze White Sox and Cubs developments of the confab originally scheduled for this week in Dallas.
