Houston Astros' strong opening statement and other observations from MLB's first weekend

We had a lot happen the first four days of the 2021 MLB season. The Reds and Cardinals had the first bench-clearing incident of the season. The Dodgers' Cody Bellinger lost a home run when he passed Justin Turner on the basepaths. White Sox rookie designated hitter Yermin Mercedes set an MLB record by starting the season with hits in his first eight at-bats. Corbin Burnes and Jose Berrios locked up in a great duel on Saturday night, the first time in modern history both starting pitchers allowed no hits with at least 11 strikeouts through six innings.
