Last week, the White Sox and American Red Cross, in partnership with Anheuser-Busch, the organization’s official domestic beer partner, held a blood drive at Guaranteed Rate Field. With the teams exceeding the goal for registration and red blood cell collection, we couldn’t help but recognize the amazing work of our partners, the dedication of medical professionals from across Chicagoland and all the selfless donors who made the event a success in this special edition Heroes Beyond the Diamond post.
We tip our caps to all those who took time to donate life-saving blood, as well as these two partners who continue to step up to the plate with initiatives that spread kindness and positivity in the wake of this global pandemic.
