Hawk Harrelson on his final White Sox road games: ‘I’ll never go back to Wrigley Field again’

When Ken “Hawk” Harrelson enters Fenway Park each year for the White Sox series against the Red Sox, he walks straight out to right field to reminisce about where he used to play.

Boston holds a special place in Harrelson’s heart because he played the only World Series of his career with the Red Sox in 1967 and was an All-Star with them in 1968, and he’s never shy about sharing stories about his former teammates, including Carl Yastrzemski.

Harrelson, who has worked a mostly road schedule for the last two seasons, is calling his final games at many ballparks over the last two months of the season.
