It seems Hawk Harrelson's highly anticipated Hall of Fame speech will have to wait another summer.
As Major League Baseball continues to discuss ways to salvage the 2020 season amid the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, Hall of Fame induction weekend in Cooperstown, New York, is expected to be postponed this week, according to a report from USA Today's Bob Nightengale.
Harrelson, the legendary White Sox broadcaster who is responsible for his own chapter in the baseball lexicon, was announced as the Ford C. Frick Award winner in December, earning him a spot in the broadcasting wing of the Hall of Fame.
