The last time the White Sox had an off day as they did Thursday. Then some players returned the next morning ready to unleash their complaints about the club's handling of the issue that pushed Adam LaRoche into retirement.
That was two weeks ago, when LaRoche quit over management's insistence over diminishing his son's clubhouse time. Now, as the Sox head into their final two exhibitions this weekend in San Diego, general manager Rick Hahn is one of several who say the discord hasn't turned into an issue that has divided the clubhouse.
"We had a very strong and unified clubhouse early in camp," Hahn said.
