The patsies otherwise known as the Cleveland Guardians come to town, presumably to fatten up on the White Sox for three games as the Royals have tightened the ALC race to just 2 1⁄2 games. One problem with that plan for Cleveland: The Guardians have lost five of 10 to the Sox this year. Playing .500 against the White Sox! It seems like a mathematical impossibility.
