The Crosstown Classic is back in action this weekend. How amazing would it be if the White Sox swept the Cubs? That’s my high hope for this weekend’s series.
Reynaldo López takes the bump for the White Sox today, and as of late López has been phenomenal. For the season, López’s ERA is at 4.05. In his last four starts, he has only allowed two earned runs, posting a 0.67 ERA. Let’s hope that his dominance carries over to today’s start.
Meanwhile, José Quintana is making his first start at Guaranteed Rate Field since he was traded to the Chicago Cubs.
