White Sox left-hander Chris Sale will try to break the club’s single-season strikeout record when he takes the mound for the final time in 2015 Friday night against the Tigers. Sale is three strikeouts shy of the record of 269, set by Ed Walsh in 1908.

Sox center fielder Adam Eaton will lead off, followed by shortstop Alexei Ramirez, designated hitter Melky Cabrera, left fielder Trayce Thompson, right fielder J.B. Shuck, first baseman Adam LaRoche, catcher Tyler Flowers, second baseman Carlos Sanchez and third baseman Tyler Saladino.
