Trayce Thompson avoided predicting the outcome of the 2015 NBA Finals between the Warriors and Cavaliers so the Dodgers outfielder is sticking with that same game plan for the rematch.
"I didn't pick last year so I'm not going to pick again this year," Thompson told reporters before the Dodgers took on the Cubs on Tuesday night at Wrigley Field. "But I think you guys know who I'll be rooting for. Hopefully, it's not as nail-biting as this last series."
Thompson made it back to his Chicago hotel room after a team function Monday night to catch the second half of Game 7 of the Western Conference finals between the Warriors and Thunder and as usual paid particular attention to one player: his brother, Warriors guard Klay Thompson.
