Five years ago today, Philip Humber threw a perfect game, just the 21st in Major League Baseball history.
The third perfect game pitched by a White Sox hurler, Humber's was perhaps the most unexpected.
Despite dominating the Mariners that April day in Seattle, Humber couldn't recapture that magic, sent to the bullpen by August of the same season and finishing the campaign with a 6.44 earned-run average.
But for one Saturday afternoon, he was perfect.
