If Carlos Rodon's results in his minor league rehab starts are any indication, then he could provide the White Sox starting rotation with a huge lift when he finally returns to a major league mound.
Rodon made his third rehab start Tuesday while in the final stages of his return from shoulder surgery last fall, and he was terrific, striking out eight in five shutout innings with Triple-A Charlotte. He allowed three hits and walked two batters.
And he did all that just five days after getting hit in the head with a line drive.
Scary play for Carlos Rodon, who appeared to somehow be OK after thishttps://t.
