As much as you want to talk all night about this one, there’s not a lotta dramatic arc or plot points. The White Sox came out storming against Detroit, going up 9-1 after four, eventually beating the Tigers, 10-1.
Everyone in the White Sox lineup had at least one hit, and even third base sub Danny Mendick nabbed one in his only at-bat. Some highlights:
- Yolmer Sánchez had a four-hit night in the leadoff spot (a pair of singles and doubles).
- Tim Anderson went 2-for-5, with a double and his 17th steal of the season.
