The Chicago White Sox left fielder was in good spirits and back in the lineup for Wednesday’s game against the Cleveland Indians at Progressive Field.
Jimenez left Sunday’s game against the Minnesota Twins in the second inning after crashing into the left-field wall trying to make a catch the previous inning. The Sox said Tuesday that Jimenez was under league protocol because of his initial symptoms and because he hit his head. He missed Tuesday’s doubleheader against the Indians.
“(The last few days have) been boring,” he said before Wednesday’s game. “But now I’m back in the lineup, I’m healthy and I feel good.
