Eloy Jiménez: Player of the Week

For the first time in his career, Chicago White Sox outfielder Eloy Jiménez has been named the American League Player of the Week (September 9-15).

The 22-year-old hit .435 with a 1.370 OPS, with a double, three homers, 11 RBIs, three walks and six runs over six games last week. Three times he had multihit games.

On September 10 and 11 Jiménez had back-to-back, four RBI games in Chicago vs. the Kansas City Royals. He became the youngest player in White Sox history to have back-to-back, four-RBI games, and became the first White Sox player since Alexei Ramírez in 2008 to accomplish the feat.
