Injury updates following Chicago White Sox outfielder Eloy Jimenez’s left pectoral tear just keep getting better, and often come from Jimenez himself.
Just this week, on June 29, he posted “The (No.) 74 is almost back to the game!!” in a story on his Instagram account.
Jimenez initially suffered the pectoral injury during a spring training game against the Oakland Athletics on March 24, attempting to rob a home run. At the time, the White Sox said they expected him to miss 5-6 months, putting his return sometime around August.
