Edgar Quero and Kyle Teel are already punching well above their weight with the Charlotte Knights, and the MiLB season isn’t even a week underway. With a home sweep against the Gwinnett Stripers, Quero and Teel have contributed their fair share to the White Sox Triple-A affiliate’s offensively-loaded wins.
Quero, the White Sox’s No. 6 overall prospect per MLB (No. 3 at SSS), and Teel, MLB’s No. 2 for the Sox (No. 5 at SSS), have made quite the statement in the first three games of the season. Quero has gone 5-for-11, drawing three walks and scoring five runs, while Teel has hit 6-for-12 while mashing two home runs, driving in nine, and scoring five runs.
