Eddie Jackson's record-setting afternoon leads Bears to second win in a row

CHICAGO — It will forever be known as The Eddie Jackson Game.

It took 17 minutes and 32 seconds into Sunday’s game for the rookie to score as many defensive touchdowns as the Bears had in the 2015 and 2016 seasons combined, setting an NFL record in the process.

And he did it one year to the day that he broke his leg at Alabama.

“That’s crazy. I didn’t even know that,” Jackson said when told of the anniversary, one he celebrated by becoming the first NFL player ever to return a fumble recovery and interception for 75-plus-yard touchdowns in the same game.
