Well, though I fear my SSS brethren will mostly disagree, Bill Walton’s trip into the broadcast booth on Friday night was a delight.
And one thing you cannot dispute, it was a successful trip, as the Chicago White Sox clobbered the Angels, 7-2.
Here’s the one true highlight you need to see:
James McCann’s massive shot out to left-center took a tight, 3-2 game and put it away for the White Sox, closing out scoring in just the top of the sixth.
Chicago’s offense was prodigious tonight, led by three hits from McCann, but getting two-hit nights from Tim Anderson, Leury García and Yolmer Sánchez.
