Along the base paths and in the Carolina League, the Winston-Salem Dash are living up to their names.
Though 14 games, the White Sox High-A affiliate lead their league in a large number of offensive team stats, including home runs (13), hits (140), total bases (223), on-base percentage (.374) and slugging percentage (.466). Led by recently-named Caroline League Player of the Week and Chicago’s u211610 prospect Micker Adolfo (.364/.417/.582), the Dash are 7–3 in their last 10 games and sit .5 games out of first place in the Carolina League’s Southern Division.
