TORONTO -- The offense reemerged on Tuesday night but the White Sox pitching couldn’t keep up.
Josh Donaldson’s three-run home run off David Robertson in the bottom of the ninth inning sent the White Sox to their fourth straight loss in the worst possible way. Donaldson’s second homer gave the Toronto Blue Jays a stunning 10-9 win over the White Sox, who had rallied from three deficits to take the lead in the eighth inning. The White Sox have lost seven times in eight tries after Robertson blew his second save in 11 tries.
Josh Thole singled to start the ninth against Robertson, who came in for an out in the eighth inning.
