Don Cooper man with a plan for White Sox pitchers, including Chris Sale

The big news at White Sox camp Friday was pitching coach Don Cooper's decision to hold Chris Sale out of Cactus League games until around March 19.

Using him in simulated games and against minor leaguers in a so-called "B" game theoretically will allow Sale to get ready and keep fresh for the stretch run, assuming the Sox actually have one that makes saving their ace worthwhile.

"Feel the Coop" is the White Sox's mantra, so debating the necessity of a more controlled atmosphere is irrelevant. It's done. Move along. Nothing to see here.
