Desert Dogs drop second straight, 7-4

It’s a quickie today, as only Luis Robert got some burn among Chicago White Sox prospects.

The Glendale Desert Dogs dropped the second of a home-and-home with the Peoria Javelinas, 7-4. Robert again batted cleanup and started in center field. He started his day with two grounders to third, reaching first safely in his first at-bat due to an error. In the sixth, he flied out to center. In the eighth, he singled to left, and struck out for the second out of the ninth, finishing his day 1-for-5.

Robert’s average stands at .222 through two games.
