Defensive miscues lead the Sox to a dismal 8-1 loss

In what should have been a close game, the White Sox found a way to lose.

The Minnesota Twins challenged a leadoff hit-by-pitch to Leury García to start the game. One batter into the game, the Twins lost their only challenge, but it would go for naught.

In the same inning, Marwin Gonzalez robbed James McCann of a base hit that would have score García.

During the bottom of the first, Manny Bañuelos pitched for two quick outs before giving up back-to-back walks to Jonathan Schoop and Eddie Rosario. C.J. Cron proceeded to double them home after Charlie Tilson misjudged a seemingly easy flyball.
