Daniel Palka keeps 'em laughing — and guessing — during TV interview

White Sox slugger Daniel Palka kept his teammates chuckling Wednesday before their game against the Tigers and he wasn’t even in the clubhouse.

The rookie was on the field at Comerica Park doing a live interview with MLB Network’s “MLB Central.” The show posted a graphic showing Palka second to the Yankees’ Giancarlo Stanton by mere percentage points in average exit velocity of their home runs, 108.9 for Stanton to Palka’s 108.7 (with a minimum 10 home runs, per baseballsavant.com).

Stanton has 30 home runs, tied for fifth most in the American League, while Palka has 18.
