Here's your daily update on what the White Sox highly touted prospects are doing in the minor leagues.
Triple-A Charlotte
Michael Kopech was one of a few White Sox pitching prospects who struggled Friday. The team's top-ranked minor league pitcher lasted just 3.1 innings as he was tagged for eight runs on five hits and four walks in a 12-2 loss. He added six strikeouts to his season total but coughed up a pair of home runs as his ERA jumped up to 4.86 on the season.
Class A Winston-Salem
Dylan Cease didn't fare any better, allowing eight runs (seven earned) in just two innings.
