GLENDALE, Ariz. -- White Sox pitching guru Don Cooper sat in his golf cart on a sunny morning at Camelback Ranch and even he could tell he was getting excited.
“You got me going now,” he said.
Three reporters had him talking about the team’s influx of young pitching. Or maybe Cooper just wanted to talk and found a new audience.
“[Michael] Kopech went one inning [Tuesday], gave up four runs and Coop can’t stop raving about him,” White Sox general manager Rick Hahn said on Wednesday. “I think Coop’s line today was was 'I’d love to have his future.
