Chicago White Sox surrender 7 runs in the 6th inning in an 8-4 loss to the Seattle Mariners to cap their opening trip at 3-4

Kyle Seager had the big hit in the inning, driving in three with a two-out double off reliever Matt Foster. The Mariners sent 11 batters to the plate in the inning against starter Dallas Keuchel, Foster and Jose Ruiz.

Keuchel allowed three runs on four hits with three strikeouts and three walks in five-plus innings. He exited after the first two batters of the sixth reached on a walk and a bloop single. A throwing error by right fielder Adam Eaton placed the runners on second and third.
