The Chicago White Sox and the New York Mets had a pitchers duel on trade deadline eve and it didn’t disappoint as far as entertainment goes. It was a game that featured New York star Noah Syndergaard facing White Sox pitcher Reynaldo Lopez. It was a game that both players played very well and gave their teams a chance to win the baseball game.
Syndergaard left the game with a 2-1 lead but the Mets bullpen would allow a run as the White Sox forced extra innings. It wouldn’t go well for the Sox in extra innings as the Mets hit back to back home runs to take a 5-2 lead in the top of the 11th and that score would hold.
