The Chicago White Sox have played four games of a nine-game road slate, where they are 2-2 and nearing while having an overall record of 32-40 as the month of June quickly closes.
Though they two wins in their past four road games, the White Sox still have three games remaining in Detroit to finish up the weekend, and then two games at the St. Louis Cardinals next Tuesday and Wednesday.
Entering Friday’s slate of games, the White Sox are 10.5 games back of the AL Central leading Kansas City Royals, and since we are talking about the White Sox on the road, part of the reason of them being in last place in the Central is their 14-25 road record.
