Chicago White Sox left fielder Eloy Jiménez homers in the 1st game of his rehab assignment with Class A Winston-Salem

Eloy Jiménez got back in the swing of things, collecting two hits — including a home run — in the first game of a doubleheader Saturday as the Chicago White Sox left fielder began his rehab assignment with Class A Winston-Salem.

Jiménez went 2-for-4 in Game 1 against Hickory with a single and a two-run home run in the 9-6 victory in a seven-inning game in Winston-Salem, N.C.

Jiménez batted third and was the designated hitter in Game 1. He lined out to left in the first and flied out to right in the third. He picked up his first hit in the fifth, singling to left field.
