The Chicago White Sox split a doubleheader with the Minnesota Twins yesterday thanks to the bat of rookie first baseman/DH Gavin Sheets.
In the bottom of the seventh, with the White Sox trailing 3-2, Sheets walked to the plate with runners on second and third. Going in to the game he had driven in 10 runs – and with one swing he increased his total by 30%.
Nothing like a walk-off dinger! Holy Sheets!
