When the Chicago White Sox traded for Cesar Hernández, they knew he could do two things well and that is play defense and hit home runs. The White Sox got both from him on Thursday. They knew that they needed to find some offense.
Over there past five games, they had scored just 11 runs. Cesar Hernádez jumped started their big series finale vs the Toronto Blue Jays with a solo home run to tie the game in the second inning.
