As availability of the COVID-19 vaccine expands throughout the country, sports teams, players and fans all could see an impact.

The Cubs have encouraged players to receive the vaccine but will not make it mandatory. Not many players had received the vaccine before the MLB season started, according to the Associated Press. That has slowly started to change with athletes now in their home cities and vaccine availability shifting.
