We all know the White Sox have done a 180 in terms of watchability this season, and the Cubs are the hottest story in town (not to mention all of baseball).
But what do the numbers say? Are more people watching both teams?
Duh.
TV ratings and attendance are both up compared to this point last year.
Thanks to the bleachers being fully operational and the excitement after last year’s National League Championship Series, the Cubs have the second-biggest attendance increase in baseball at 6,915 per game through their first 15 home games, according to Baseball-Reference’s attendance tracker.
