Celebrity Chef Joe Flamm is no stranger to the South Side. He’s a long-time Sox fan who even used the team’s name as a code word to indicate if he’d advanced to the next round of “Top Chef.” The season 15 winner is executive chef at Café Spiaggia, a lively restaurant on the Magnificent Mile offering casual Italian flare.
Flamm collaborated with the Sox and Levy Restaurants to shake up your traditional ballpark fare with a pop-up Café Spiaggia in the Revolution Brewing #SoxSocial Tap Room. The special menu features a roasted Italian pork sandwich with a kick of giardinera, delicious spicy sausage ’n’ peppers and Italian-style fried doughnuts called castagnoles.
