Chance the Rapper tosses first pitch at White Sox home opener

It's been quite the start to the weekend for hip hop recording artist and South Side native Chance the Rapper.

Just hours after his New Era limited edition White Sox caps sold out in minutes, Chance the Rapper — born Chancelor Bennett — made an appearance at U.S. Cellular Field to toss the ceremonial first pitch prior to the White Sox home opener against the Cleveland Indians Friday afternoon.

Chance the Rapper, who grew up in Chicago's West Chatham neighborhood, threw a strike to White Sox ace Chris Sale.

After the ball landed in Sale's mitt, Chance the Rapper celebrated with a few dance moves on the pitcher's mound.
