César Hernández has some pop — and postseason experience. Here are 4 stats that show what he’ll bring to the Chicago White Sox.

KANSAS CITY, MO. — The Chicago White Sox saw César Hernández’s power up close in the first game of a May 31 doubleheader against the Cleveland Indians at Progressive Field.

The second baseman homered on Carlos Rodón’s first pitch, and then struck again in the third with another solo home run.

He has three home runs this season against the White Sox — and now he’ll look to provide some pop for them. Hernández moved up a spot in the American League Central standings after being traded to the Sox Thursday for minor-league pitcher Konnor Pilkington.
