On Friday night, the White Sox’s Low-A affiliate, the Kannapolis Intimidators, were in Augusta, Ga. for the third game of their three-game set. In the bottom of the fifth inning, the power went out at Lake Olmstead Stadium. According to Intimidators director of communications Josh Feldman, there was an hour-and-a-half period where the game was in delay as teams waited to return to acton. The power company was called out to the stadium to attempt to make repairs, but the game was ultimately canceled, with no makeup date, and all the statistics wiped out.
And then the Intimidators had to hop on the bus to Rome, Ga.
