Carlos Rodón pitches 6 strong innings as the Chicago White Sox beat the Minnesota Twins 4-1 despite being held to 3 hits

MINNEAPOLIS — Carlos Rodón allowed one run on seven hits in six innings in his final start before the All-Star break, leading the Chicago White Sox to a 4-1 victory against the Minnesota Twins on a rainy Tuesday at Target Field.

Catcher Zack Collins had the big hit early, driving in two with a two-out single in the second. That was the only Sox hit through seven innings, and they finished with just three hits.

Collins, who will see more playing time after Yasmani Grandal was placed on the injured list with a torn tendon in his left knee, went 2-for-3 with the two RBIs and a run.
