Carlos Rodón is in line to return from the injured list Thursday and start for the Chicago White Sox in the series finale against the Toronto Blue Jays, manager Tony La Russa said Wednesday.
Rodón has been one of the top pitchers on the staff, earning his first All-Star selection. The left-hander threw a no-hitter April 14 against the Cleveland Indians at Guaranteed Rate Field.
Rodón recently said he didn’t recover as well as he would have liked after his Aug. 7 start against the Cubs at Wrigley Field, leading to the pause.
“I would rather be at 100% or close to 100% competing out there for my team,” he said Aug.
